it was my birthday

Earlier this week was my birthday. I turned 44! It was a Monday, so actually had a 4 day weekend.

Myself and my parents had lunch at the Camellia Gardens. The gardens are a beautiful place with lots of stone pathways to explore and look at the flowers. I remember going there as a kid and having the best time exploring! There are resident ducks that you can feed. The gardens are also home to some endangered animals including the Powerful Owl and the Grey-headed Flying Fox

We had lunch in the Jade Teahouse. I had the “picnic lunch for 1”. It was really well presented on a raised board. It included 4 sandwich triangles (2 meat, 2 vegetarian), a scone with jam and cream and a pot of tea. I had an English Breakfast out of a beautiful cup!

Nala also got a haircut at the vet. She had to be sedated! As you can see she is still a bit zonked out after the sedation! She needs to get one of her teeth pulled in a few weeks.

I also started doing some cat sitting for want of a better term. I went each afternoon to feed some cats. I had 2 cats in Cronulla-Harley and Raggy. One was in Sylvania-Cassius. It is a great little job as I love cats! All the cats were great!
