my favourite toy

So, my favourite toy! That would have to be my raccoon.

I got her for my 1st birthday from my uncle and aunt. So, this year she turned 42 years old. She is very well-loved!

Raccoon has been everywhere I have been in life. She came with me when I got my tonsils out when I was 8. And she has been to every home I have lived in. She has been a friend when I have been sleeping as well.

A few years ago (before COVID), I did have to get her restuffed. Her stitching was coming loose, and she had lost a lot of stuffing. One of her ears had also come off (maybe 6 years prior). I found a shop locally, the “Sutherland Shire Toy Restoration Centre”.

She has been a constant in my life; even Nala loves her. I have had many toys and animals in my life, but my raccoon is special!
